ABOUT ME
Born in Belgium, Kat has worked in many countries across the globe during her 30 year career in makeup artistry including: UK, USA, South Africa and across the MENA region.
Jobs which she is particularly proud of include working with photographers: Annie Leibovitz (US Vogue cover and editorial), Fadil Berisha (Rolex print campaign), Lorenzo Agius (Harpers Bazaar) and director Stephen Ghagan (Syriana starring George Clooney & Matt Damon). Kat worked with Nadav Kander (Dubai Tourism) and Peter Hapag (ESPN Magazine US - Cover & editorial with Rodger Federer).
In Jan ’19, Kat was MU Dept. Head working on an international TV commercial (Marriott Bonvoy), Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Cinematographer Janusz Kaminski. Kat was Hugh Jackman’s groomer for his Dubai visit in March ‘19, was responsible for Taylor Hill’s glam for Carolina Herrera in 2018 and in April '19 worked on a global TVC directed by Reed Morano and Cinematography by Colin Watkinson. Being Head of the Makeup Department on The Shadow (Short Film, Directed by Nayla Al Khaja & Cinematography by Mik Allen) was another exceptional and extraordinary project of 2019.
Kat has worked with many international magazine titles including Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, L’Officiel, Cosmopolitan, Esquire and Grazia, having done various covers.
Kat has extensive experience on TVC’s working on ads for Nissan, Emirates Airways, Nivea, Coca Cola, Dove, Dettol, Etihad, Listerine, Showtime (OSN), Landrover, Mercedes, Vaseline and Maybelline amongst many other top brands.
She has groomed household names such as Zinedine Zidane (Esquire), Roger Federer (US Vogue Men’s cover in 2005 and again in 2012 for Moet&Chandon, ESPN Magazine, Lindt TV Commercial, 3 Mercedes TVC's and 5 Sunrise Swiss Telecom TVC's, Andy Murray (Standard Life), Serena Williams, Adam Scott (Rolex Print Campaign), Henrik Stenson (King Magazine of Sweden), Lee Westwood, Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull), Hugh Jackman, Will Smith for Disney+'s "Welcome to Earth, Directed by Darren Aronofsky), Kevin Hart (Yas Island), Pharrell (Aldar) and Shaquille O'Neal (Visit Abu Dhabi).
Other celebrities Kat has worked with include: Selena Gomez, Taylor Hill (for Caroline Herrera), Yousra (Civene Nassim), Kat worked on a TVC for Etihad Airways starring Nicole Kidman and more recently on the Emirates Airlines campaign with Penelope Cruz.
